Installing DynaMed Mobile on an Android Device - Skyscape Medical Library (SML)


DynaMed is available thru the Skyscape Medical Library application from your Android device running 2.2 or later. Skyscape supports the installation of DynaMed on up to 3 devices. For example, if you have registered DynaMed on your Phone, you can install it to your tablet using the same serial number.

You can download the following step-by-step instructions with screenshots using the Download link found at the bottom of this page.

Before you begin, you should have the following information:

To request a DynaMed serial number:

To register with Skyscape:

  1. Go to the Skyscape website to create an account.

  2. Click Create Account.

  3. Fill in your information and click the Create Account button.

To download the Skyscape app:

  1. Search the Google Play Store for Skyscape Medical Library (SML) or click here.

  2. Download the Skyscape Medical Library reader and complete the installation process.

  3. Open the Skyscape app and read/agree to the terms and conditions of the license agreement.

  4. Create an account or sign in using your existing Skyscape account.

  5. Select at least one of the free resources to download and install to your device.

  6. Tap on Download & Install Resource(s).

  7. Once the resources are installed, tap Get Started.

  8. On the What’s new in this release screen, tap on the X in the top right hand corner to close.

To install the free DynaMed Android App:

  1. Open Skyscape Medical Library (SML).

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Tap on Add Resources.

  4. Tap on Have a Serial Number?

  5. Enter your DynaMed serial number and tap Continue.

  6. Tap Download and Install Resource.

  7. When the download is finished, DynaMed is listed as a resource in your Skyscape Home.

To access DynaMed from your Android device:

  1. Launch the Skyscape Medical Library App.

  2. Tap on DynaMed.

To install DynaMed updates:

To renew your DynaMed Mobile access when a serial number expires:

Your access to DynaMed Mobile expires one year after registration.

  1. Contact dynamedsupport@ebsco.com to obtain a new serial number and then complete the following renewal process, be sure to advise that you are using Skyscape Medical Library.

  2. Open Skyscape.

  3. Go to Settings.

  4. Tap on Add Resources.

  5. Tap on Have a Serial Number?

  6. Enter your DynaMed serial number.

  7. When the download is finished, DynaMed is listed as a resource in your Skyscape Home.
