• First name last name (Roald Dahl or roald dahl) You can use upper or lower case.
• Last name, first name or last name first name (Dahl, Roald or dahl roald) You can use upper or lower case and you can separate with a comma or not.
• Part of a Name (henk*, dian*)- You can enter a portion of a name if you do not know the exact name or its spelling (henk* will retreive titles by Kevin Henkes, dian* will retrieve diana, dianna, dianne, and diane). The asterisk is a wildcard symbol telling NoveList K-8 (in these examples) to retrieve any authors whose names contain the letters "henk" or "dian" when they appear together.
