• Not Case Sensitive - You can use either upper or lower case letters (boxcar children OR Boxcar Children).

• Partial Titles Acceptable - You do not have to type the complete title ("rising dark" will retrieve the titles for Susan Cooper's young adult series, The Dark is Rising).

• Key Words from Title Acceptable - You do not have to enter all of the words in a title ("underpants" will retrieve titles for Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants series). Note that if there is more than one series with the word(s) you entered, NoveList will display the names of the applicable series as links and then you can choose the series that you are interested in.

• Primary Characters can be entered - If you don't know the series try entering the main character's name ("Murry family" will retrieve Madeleine L'Engle's series which includes A Wrinkle in Time).

• Leading Articles Unnecessary - You do not have to type "A," "An," or "The" at the beginning of a series name.
