Here are some tips for entering titles in NoveList:

• Not Case Sensitive - You can use either upper or lower case letters (Slam OR slam).
• Key Words from Title Acceptable - You do not have to enter all of the words in a title ("tilting planet" will retrieve Madeleine L'Engle's A Swiftly Tilting Planet).
• Leading Articles Unnecessary - You do not have to type "A," "An," or "The" at the beginning of a title.
• Punctuation - If you enter a title that contains punctuation (apostrophes, contractions, commas, exclamation points, question marks), you must enter the punctuation if the punctuation appears inside the word (For the title, Kit's Wilderness by David Almond, "Kit's" must be entered. "Kit" or "Kits" will not retrieve the title). Punctuation that appears at the end of a word (Mr., Mrs., ?, !) does not need to be entered.
